My Story begins with a sketch book and a Dial-up Connection.

Hey, I’m Patty—a web designer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, originally from Miami (where guava pastries and croquetas were basically a food group). My love for the internet started in middle school with glittery AOL profiles, Geocities layouts, and copy-pasting HTML from LisaExplainsItAll.com. I didn’t know it was called design or code back then—I just knew it felt like magic.

I went to school for design and web development and later worked as a front-end developer at a startup—where I also met my husband. He’s now a senior software developer who moonlights at Creativepea as a specialist in web app front-end development. It’s very much a team effort—with shared coffee, shared calendars, and a shared passion for building things that work.

After a season dedicated to raising our four little ones, I’ve found my way back to design—with more clarity, intention, and coffee than ever.

Creativepea may be small-town based, but we serve wellness providers and service-led brands across the U.S. I bring a calm mindset, a full house, and a deep love for crafting websites that reflect your heart, your purpose, and the people you’re here to help.

Who is Pea?

I didn’t just come back to design—I came back different. Like so many others, I found myself in a season of burnout, confusion, and needing support. Therapy helped me reconnect. Functional medicine started my healing from the inside out. Strength training helped me feel strong in my body again. Each provider played a part in that process.

But as I searched for support, I realized how hard it was to find providers who communicated clearly online. The services were there—but the connection wasn’t. What made a difference were the brands that made me feel something—safe, seen, and understood—before I even booked a call. That’s the kind of experience I want to help create for others.

Because healing isn’t a trend or a one-time thing—it’s a way of life. And your brand should reflect that kind of impact.

"Healing isn’t a trend or a one-time thing—it’s a way of life."
